International DNB Meeting
On Saturday 3rd December, 200 Enthusiastic representatives from Appco Group Deutschland, Appco Group Nederland and Appco Group Belgique descended on the Evoluon convention centre in Eindhoven for the final event on the 2011 Appco Group DNB calendar. The event was hosted by VP Simon Murphy, who started the day with a review of the year’s successes around the region and growth plans and potential for 2012. Educational topics were run by the region’s Managers as well as international guest speakers, including VP Michael Scully, newly promoted Orginisational Head Lawrence Lenzi, Claire Bovey and Fabiana Calhoub. Selected Crew and Team Managers from around the region also presented their team goals for 2012.
According to Assistant Manager Jelle de Boer the meeting was a great opportunity to learn from the international guests: “It doesn’t matter in which country Appco is in. The system works the same all over the world and that’s a great thing to see. It inspires new people to implement the systems and to push their boundaries.”
Along with motivational topics there were sales awards and competition prizes to give away. Team Muppets from Eindhoven earned the title of Ultimate Roadtrip Champions in the Netherlands. From Germany Michaele Bartsch and Patrick Kushke received a new iPad for their outstanding performance in sales in the Energy Division. Pierre Warnotte from Belgium earned himself a ticket to Spain, to visit VP Ollie Blomme and learn from him personally. Managers Dennis de Graaf and Arnaud le Floch had the most growth in their team over the past quarter and both received a brand new iPad as an award. And in the race for the recruitment competition Eindhoven took the check for €1,000 to go towards a team social event.
The day ended with the promotion of Jelle de Boer to Assistant Manager in Amsterdam, and the promotion of the regions newest manager, Saman Ramtin. Saman is located in Eindhoven and when asked about how he felt when receiving his promotion he said: “I worked very hard and this promotion is my reward for my commitment. It is the start of my career. Achieving my goal gives me satisfaction and I will continue my commitment to also achieve my next goals.”
