DNB Rally 2011

The first ever Deutschland, Nederland & Belgique Rally was held on the 12th of October 2011 in Amsterdam! At this event we celebrated the amazing achievements of the last 12 months and learned from experts in our industry, who we were very fortunate to have with us from all across Europe.

Four Vice Presidents’ and the Chairman and founder of the Appco Group attended, 18 award categories were presented, followed by an afternoon of education to coach and develop everyone for the coming months .

2011 has been an incredibly important year for this region: with the launch of Appco Group Belgique, our first French speaking territory, we have seen our first Promotion to Manager within 6 months of opening. In the Netherlands our offices are rapidly expanding and showing maturity beyond their experience and an energy and passion for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. In Germany we have seen Managers consolidating their skills, ambition and goals, laying the foundations for a future that will see Germany compete with other up and coming countries within the group across Europe.

Bringing this region together allows us to use each other’s strengths and learn from the best in each area of the industry, forging partnerships within the Appco Team that will allow us to progress as a region.

In this region we have leaders who are game changers; these are people who want to open offices and get involved in new divisions and new territories.

This year it had many Managers perform at a high level in different areas, making it impossible to decide on Manager of the Year for the Region. So 2011 was the year where we had not just one, but two Managers picking up this prestigious award. Particularly in the months leading up to the Rally these two managers were neck and neck in terms of their performance and were responsible for re igniting the fundraising division in the Netherlands and throughout the DNB region.
