Simon Murphy

Managing Director – Appco Group Nederland

Born in Galway, in the West of Ireland in 1972, Simon Murphy attended Colaiste Iognaid in Sea Road. Studying a Bachelor of Commerce in University of Galway, Simon completed two years and in 1994 opted to travel for a year, before undertaking his final year.

It was in the course of travelling in Perth, Australia, that Simon was introduced to the Appco Group, looking to just earn money through sales so that he could further fund his travel itinerary. However, his plans soon changed when Simon attended his first Business Development meeting. In a short period of time, Simon graduated to running his own company, and was soon offered the opportunity of moving to New Zealand to pioneer the Applications Division.

Having exceeded all expectations, and having put New Zealand firmly on the Appco Group map, Simon needed a new challenge. The Applications Division in the United Kingdom was in its infancy and required a pace setter to develop it. 

Arriving in the UK in 1997, his organisation has grown to over 100 Marketing Companies spread across six countries. Known as one of the greatest innovators within the Appco Group today, Simon has been responsible for creating and developing the Cycle of Development which is now used around the world within the network, The Premier Club for Leaders and The Firm First Class for Administrators, amongst many other systems. He is a great believer in change and adapting to the modern world, and it’s this attribute, amongst others, that has seen him build his organisation into one of the largest in direct sales organisations around the world. 

Simon is now the Managing Director of Appco Group Nederland, Managing Director of Appco Group Ireland, Managing Director of Appco Group Belgique, Managing Director and Owner of The Firm Organisation in Ireland, UK and Holland, and Vice President of The Appco Group.
