Lauren O'Brien

Whilst studying at the University of Leeds, Lauren started her career in sales through summer work as an Independent Contractor with a Marketing Company contracted to Appco Group UK in 2003. Her initial goals were to make some extra money, get some experience and have fun. Lauren's exceptional people skills and natural flair for sales accelerated her success in the business, and combined with her business acumen and ambition led to Lauren becoming one of the youngest Managing Directors of a Marketing Company, at the age of 21. Lauren ran her Marketing Company in Leeds, and over the course of the next three years, opened two Marketing Companies in Bristol and Swindon.

In the early part of 2009, Lauren became involved in the operations of The Netherlands, using her own business experience to set up the Sales Support Team for Appco Group Nederland. In 2010, she was promoted to Head of Sales Support, and she works very closely alongside the Sales Managers. Lauren is constantly innovating to ensuring Sales Managers have all the tools needed to run their sales teams successfully. She is a mentor and support for Sales Managers, providing them with advice and training on how to maximize their own and their team’s performance.
