Director – Appco Group Sales

Having graduated university with a degree in business and management James discovered the Appco Group whilst looking for a short term sales job, with repaying student debt being the main motivator.  With a family background in banking and finance the decision to stay in the direct sales industry long term was not one that went down well.  However the 'ownership' opportunity offered by the Appco Group was something unusual but enticing and James set about the business development program.

In just over 12 months James was running his own company in East London, and within the first year of trading he has offered the opportunity to open up the Irish market.  
Specialising at the time in home security meant that the first campaigns in Ireland were security products; however these first steps have now resulted in Appco Group Ireland having 14 locations around the country working across five industries. 

After opening and establishing Ireland, James was invited to get involved with the Dutch market in 2007.  Cultural differences combined with new client relationships made for a challenging first 6 months.  However his unwavering belief in the industry and in the team around him turned the situation around and helped the Appco Group establish a strong presence in the Netherlands.

Having recently set up the new Appco office in Amsterdam, combining, sales, administration and finance academies as well as a fantastic team, the future really is bright.

James is the Managing Director of Appco Group Sales, with an organisational presence in the Netherlands and Ireland. As the Director of Appco Group Sales he brings his expertise in running a marketing company and sales team to the management team.
